Burley in Wharfedale, Victorian House Renovation
A large 6 bedroom house located in Burley in Wharfedale. In this stunning house I reconfigured the layout to move the kitchen from a dark side kitchen, to a large open-plan kitchen diner backing onto the garden. The design and addition of a picture window designed by myself, with ledge for sitting and relaxing looking at the garden, and a modern set of bifold doors brought light into the room. The unique haberdashery unit was used an a kitchen island, and bespoke shelving designed by myself included in the design.

The house was designed to take inspiration from the period of the building, whilst bringing in a modern twist. For example use of the patterned tiles on the bathroom floor, a pine cabinet converted into a bathroom cabinet with sit-on basin, alongside a beautiful contemporary bath and modern hardware.

The whole house was designed to have a simple background colour scheme of greys and blue, with pops of bright colours to lift the scheme.

This project was fully coordinated by myself, including sourcing and procuring many items of furnishings to fit around some existing furniture.
